Rolling O Lab at Country City Music Marathon
Country City Music Marathon
Nashville, TN - 4/30/07
This past weekend Nashville, TN was the home of the Country Music City Marathon. Over 32,000 athletes toed the line on a perfect running day with overcast conditions and low humidity. The hot thing about the course was the world-class field with the Men’s Champion Simon Wangai of Kenya and Olena Shurkhno of Russia winning the Women’s event. The marathon was over a course of city streets and surrounding neighborhoods, and motivation came in the form of 50 bands situated every half mile on the course with country, rock n roll and even blues bands.
This was a fantastic event, topped off by the presence of our insane Rolling O Lab; the crew was incredibly knowledgeable in serving the hundreds of Oakley loyalists and enthusiasts that came threw over the weekend. Oakley also had a huge Military presence with a base just 50 miles away, many of our Military athletes visited to inquire on our ballistics and military program. It was great to see these consumers in person.
