The Heartbeat of America: Malls & NASCAR
South Carolina - 5/17/07
The Rolling O Crew was set up ready to go for a day at the Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh, NC after a long day of travel. They secured a sick spot in the parking lot adjacent to one of the busiest streets in Raleigh. They rolled the barbeque out, ice chests and were ready for a steady stream of local and national accounts, law enforcement and the general public to roll through. To help with the rigorous schedule of the Rolling O Lab, Jim Sedor added the extra bonus of a massage therapist that was set up in the trailer to take care of the boys for the day. Big props to Jim for that, it was amazing.Accounts drove on average 45 minutes to come by for food, drinks and the most impactful lab experience we could offer them. When all was said and done over 100 people went through the lab and had a great time while learning a ton about Oakley.
Thanks to the reps for inviting so many accounts to come experience the lab, the O Store Staff for stopping by, Kevin Geddings for manning the barbeque and of course Ryan, Brian, Adam and Aaron for being at their best after a long week.
Friday, The Rolling O made a pit stop at Joe Gibbs Race Shop to kick off Speed Week for The Nextel Cup Series with local rep Shawn Hinson, on pole position representing the Carolinas Rep Team. Hundreds of fans attended this big event.
Big thanks to Todd Hayes, Oakley Sports Marketing, for putting together the day at Chip Gnassi Racing where staff and Oakley Athlete, Juan Pablo Montoya were able to experience a taste of The Rolling O Lab.
