Oakley in PA
After Vision Expo East in NYC, the Lab traveled down to the diverse state of Pennsylvania. On the way south the truck paused for a brief stop in Cherry Hill, NJ for a retail post at Danzeissen and Quigley sports shop. This would be the first of a series of several retail stops for the Rolling O Lab. On a beautiful bluebird, mid April day in southern NJ, all interested public consumers and retailers were brought through for HDO tours. With Frank on the grill, the crew held down tours from the morning hours well into the setting sun. The impact was certainly felt through the sales of Oakley product throughout the day.
From NJ the Lab rolled into central PA, Pottsville to be exact. Mmm, the home of Yuengling fine lagers and ales, America’s oldest brewery. There the trucks posted up outside a shopping mall to educate the masses and the fine retailers at Schuylkill Valley Sports stores. Again the impact was felt with consumers driven to purchase Oakley product after leaving the lab.
As the lab headed back towards Philly for the Penn Relays at U Penn, a quick stop was made at a Criterion Bike race. With music pumping into the start/finish area, the lab helped create a powerful overall presence to the event.
The tour of PA was wrapped up at the Penn Relays where area High Schools as well as collegiate athletes nationwide and internationally all convened at the historic Ivy League school, U Penn. For three days the lab showcased the HDO message to the masses.
Big thanks goes out to Freddy Klevan for all his hard work and effort in making these stops happen. The O Lab looks forward to revisiting the PA area again in the future.
