I have always been proud to be Japanese. My father has taught me a lot about the spirit of the Samurai, a spirit that is in my blood. The Samurai were warriors who treasured loyalty, faith, love and integrity among other honorable traits. Inheriting their culture has made me strong. In life, I always try to stick to my principles and persevere in the face of adversity. It may sound hard, but that is the choice I have made. And to me, it never feels like a hardship. Even if people laugh at me or make fun of me, I can keep walking because I have strong beliefs.
