Lots of things about me seem contradictory, but to me they make sense. Growing up, I hated the beach — now I live to surf. I feel at home with the mellowness of Hawaii, but I thrive on the competitiveness of California lineups. I dress in black but I love colorful hearts and butterflies. I talk a lot, but I'm a great listener — especially when I'm drawing. I used to beat up my brother, but now he's my best surfing buddy. The way I see it, you don't have to choose sides. You can do it all.
