Ionic+ is an antimicrobial, odour-fighting material that’s machine washable. We’ve designed the padding system as a single piece for easy packing.

Not only does the MOD BC helmet feature lower shell coverage for enhanced protection, but it also comes standard with additional safety features such as MIPS, RECCO, and Twiceme.

The fixed goggle vents at the front optimise goggle performance and help reduce fogging. The adjustable ventilation across the top of the helmet, combined with interior channelled foam, directs airflow over your head and out through the exhaust ports at the back of the helmet.

Instead of bulky, traditional ear pads and a heavy liner that people often remove, the MOD BC comes with a slimmer, lightweight beanie. The beanie features a ventilated visor for optimal airflow, flatlock seams to reduce friction, ear flaps for extra coverage, and is machine washable.

For convenient helmet storage both on and off the mountain, the MOD BC is equipped with bungee straps on both sides for easy backpack attachment, a moulded rubber yoke for packing flexibility, and a protective helmet bag for added security when not in use.

This helmet is also triple-certified, meeting the rigorous EN 1077, ASTM F2040, and EN 12492 mountaineering standards.

The MOD BC features an in-mold polycarbonate shell and weighs under 450 grams, making it one of our lightest helmets available.
