Oakley® celebrates famed British road cyclist Mark Cavendish withthe release of the Mark Cavendish Signature Series Oakley Kato. ThisSignature Series Oakley Kato features a white frame with Prizm™ 24Klenses, symbolic of the many victories Mark has secured over thecourse of his 17-year career. Cavendish was one of the first majorathletes to wear Oakley Kato, having continued to wear the frameduring the 2021 Tour De France, including during his Stage 13 winwhich tied the record for the most Tour De France stage wins of alltime (34).
Cavendish was heavily involved in the design process of his SignatureSeries Oakley Kato. His personal design flair and passion for Greekmythology is incorporated into the frame through the “Cav” etchingon the lenses in a design inspired by the gods. This special editionhas gold accents and comes in a uniquemicrobagthattakes a lookback at all the Oakley styles that Cavendish has sported throughouthis historic cycling career.
