The LPL-5+ Lens technology is designed to block visible green, violet & blue lasers and laser pointers from damaging the wearer’s eyes upon specific Laser encounters. Oakley's LPL-5+ lenses provide ballistic protection along with 2.5 Optical Density (OD) that blocks 99.7% of 532nm wavelengths from green lasers & 1.5 Optical Density (OD) that blocks 99.7% of 405-450nm wavelengths from violet/blue lasers. The lens tint’s 42% VLT allows for optimum protection and operation versatility in both bright and low light conditions.
